Docus follows Nuxt conventions. Files under public/ are copied unchanged to the output root and keep stable URLs:

Images may also live beside Markdown content and use relative references, which lets Nuxt Content and Nuxt Image process them as part of the content pipeline. Use public/ for a stable shared filename and co-location for page-owned media.
