Markdown Extensions
The template uses Nuxt Content's Markdown pipeline and Nuxt UI's styled MDC components. Code fences are highlighted by Shiki and can carry a filename.

MDC lets Markdown authors configure Vue components without importing them into
every document.
Footnotes and mathematical notation are not enabled by this starter. They need additional remark/rehype configuration or a content component, so they should not be counted as built-in behavior here.
