CSS Customization

Theme tokens, Tailwind utilities, component maps, slots, and ejectable UI components.

Result

Fumadocs exposes customization at several depths:

override --color-fd-* design tokens in CSS;
use Tailwind CSS utilities in application components;
extend the global MDX component map;
configure layout links, navigation, sidebar, and page slots;
install UI source through the Fumadocs CLI when package-level options are not enough.

This project's purple accent, demo panels, and Mermaid container are plain additions in app/global.css; the docs layout remains package-provided.

The breadth is a strength for product-aligned docs, with the trade-off that deeply ejected components become application-owned code.
