Static Site Generation

Starlight pages are prerendered by default. astro build produces one directory-style index.html for every documentation route, suitable for a CDN or GitHub Pages. The page’s base text and links are present in that HTML.

Astro does not hydrate every content component automatically. This sample adds browser JavaScript only for features that need it: Starlight search and theme controls, the counter, and client-rendered Mermaid. The build is deterministic and does not fetch external data.
